Accident

The second colored illustration for my book illustration assignment *v* Kwiri, the wounded boy here, decided he won't listen to Teeku the shaman and would go hunting even though he felt really bad, then at one point lost his balance and fell off a cliff right onto a dead tree/stick/something and almost died there because he has pretty bad luck. I haven't draw real leaf madness for...over...3 years? I feel like I do that all the time but it looks like I've been pretty lazy with including 10000000 handpainted leaves in my colored things. I did use some leaf brushes for the base but still spent at least 4 more hours leafing. Happy times! Also coloring took me only 3 days so double happy times, I'm finally getting better at time managment *dances*

I heavilly based this on one of my favourite places on earth with lots of sandstones and beatiful trees aaand I think some parts of The Chronicles of Narnia movies were filmed several kilometers away so you can probably get pretty good idea. I haven't been there for over a year now, I neeeeed to get more photos when I get there because there is never enough references and it's pretty much perfect for illustrations for this story <3
